Install or recover S3 WiFiCom on a LilyGO T-Display-S3 LCD from Chrome or Edge. Devices already running the OTA-capable release can update directly from Settings.
1. Confirm the hardware
This firmware is only for the LilyGO T-Display-S3 LCD. Do not install it on the older T-Display ESP32, AMOLED, Pro, or another ESP32-S3 board.

3. Choose the installation type
Hold BOOT while connecting USB, release it, then choose one option below. Reconnect USB or press Reset after installation finishes.
Fresh Install
Use for a new board or storage that cannot be loaded. This erases the entire device, then installs firmware and clean storage. Existing saves, settings, downloaded sprite packs, wallpapers, and other files are permanently removed.
Data will be erased. Fresh install always erases all partitions after you confirm.
Firmware Recovery
Installs and verifies firmware in the other application partition, then selects it for the next boot. Existing saves, settings, downloaded sprite packs, and wallpapers are preserved.
Recovery never erases storage. An incompatible partition layout or uncertain boot selection stops recovery safely.
Save backup and restore (USB)
Use firmware 1.2.23 or later to include Wi-Fi settings. Start your WiFiCom normally and connect USB without holding BOOT. Saves transfer directly over USB.
Save backup
Download your saved progress, content list and saved Wi-Fi networks to this computer. Keep the backup file for restoring this device or setting up another unit.
Includes Wi-Fi passwords. Keep your backup file private.
Save restore
Restore saved progress from a backup on this computer. Restoring replaces this device’s saved progress and Wi-Fi networks when included in the backup.
Select a valid backup file above to enable Save restore.
After restoring, open Lightning → Content → Updates on the device to recover required downloads. Missing artwork shows Missing Sprites while your saved progress is kept safe. Local or unavailable packs need their original files.
