Editing checklist
- Open the PNG in Aseprite or another pixel-art editor. Set its grid to 32 × 32 pixels if available.
- Keep the canvas at 160 × 64 pixels and draw inside each cell. Leave the spare cell unchanged.
- Keep the background transparent. Use a hard-edged pencil: no smoothing, blur or partly transparent pixels. Zoom in to edit; do not resize the artwork.
- Keep colours simple. MIP reserves one transparent slot, one theme-dependent foreground slot, and up to 14 fixed colours per icon. The template shows the foreground in black; PNG alone does not preserve that special slot.
- Export as PNG, preserving transparency. Keep an editable project copy if your editor supports layers.
Template download only for now. User PNG upload and automatic conversion are not available yet. The device reads MIP packs, not this PNG sheet; the current admin uploader accepts only .mip. The repository converter supports separate indexed 32 × 32 PNG icons, not this RGBA sheet. Foreground mapping and palette validation will be needed when converting edited artwork.
